Sun Flux sell a hot water controller that uses four 250W PV solar panels to generate electricity and connects directly with your existing hot water cylinder. The advantage of this system (besides its relatively low cost of $2695) is that it uses light rather than thermal energy to heat your hot water, which potentially means greater output during the colder winter months.

Sun Flux send the entire kit to your door, then arrange for a local Clean Energy Council accredited installer to install the system for you. This low-cost model (no plumbing required) means that Sun Flux is a viable option for more Australian households that traditional solar hot water systems.
