Is there anything else you would like to tell us about your experience? Our system was installed last Spring with only a few minor issues. It worked well throughout summer and we gave Sun-Ray a good review at the time, as have many others here. However, since the weather cooled in April we have not been happy with the performance at all. After many cold showers we are now turning the booster on for a few hours every single night to ensure we have hot water in the mornings. This is NOT what we were told to expect, and they do NOT supply an automatic timer to make this easy. I first rang them many weeks ago, but my call was not returned. After further calls and questioning by them about our usage I was again told someone should ring me back. Weeks later again and no one has. An email to them has also gone unanswered. No one has even been out to check the system is working correctly. Therefore I would NOT recommend Sun-Ray. I would also advise anyone looking at Solar Hot water to check out the Australian Standards regarding harmful bacteria in hot water storage tanks and ensure that their system complies.
