Is there anything else you would like to tell us about your experience?I bought an evacuated vaccuum solar tube system....24 tubes on the one I purchased. It is not installed yet, as I'm in the process of building and once complete it can be installed. I have a friend who has one. The solar tubes were being stored on a verandah on a sunny day.....so they were in the shade. The packaging carboard had been partly removed which exposed some of the tubes to light but in the shade. I was curious to how hot the copper ends of the tube that go into the tank actually get so I touched one. It was so hot that I got a few drops of water and dropped it onto the copper end and the water sizzled. So if it gets this hot in the shade I have no doubt it will work exceptionally well in the sun. This brand also has refecter trays underneath it to divet light to te under side of the tubes too.
